The Woodside Bigband

We are the The Woodside BigBand.
We are directed by the pianist Jack Glover. The 15 piece Woodside Bigband has been playing gigs, concerts, jazz festivals, Weddings, Functions , Parties and Bandstands throughout Yorkshire for the last twenty years .  

Our broad  repertoire consists of Classic swing  by Glen Miller , Count Basie, Duke Ellington, as well as Jive, Bebop and blues. 

We also play a number of Latin tunes, popular Funk from  the likes of Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire and Herbie Hancock. 

 In addition to the above we  play well known tunes from  films such as, The Pink Panther, Austin Powers and Jungle book. 

 From our extensive musical library  we can tailor make  our set to suit your taste and requirements.  

The cost of hiring the band is negotiable depending on the event.
